Cookie policy (United States)
Last updated 10 October 2026.
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. NearbyWise uses only the cookies it needs to work the way you expect. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and no third party sets cookies through our site.
| Cookie | What it does |
|---|---|
nw_country | Remembers the country you chose, so we show guides for where you live. Kept for one year. |
nw_consent | Remembers that you have seen our cookie notice, so it doesn't keep appearing. Kept for one year. |
sb-… | Sign-in cookies, set only for our editors when they sign in to manage the site. |
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them; you'll just be asked to choose your country again.
If we ever add other cookies (for example, to understand which guides are most useful), we will update this page and ask for your permission first.
