These terms apply when you use NearbyWise in United Arab Emirates (the "site"), run by NearbyWise ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What the site is for
NearbyWise helps you compare local businesses using information they publish themselves, such as prices, packages, warranties, service areas and how to book. It is general information to help you decide, not advice and not an offer from any business.
Check before you book
We work hard to keep every detail accurate and show when it was last checked, but businesses change their prices and terms. Always confirm the details with the business before you book or pay. Any arrangement you make is between you and the business; we are not a party to it and don't guarantee its work.
Rankings and listings
Lists follow our published method (How we rank). Being listed is not an endorsement. No business pays to be included or to rank higher; if we ever carry sponsored listings, they will be clearly labelled and kept out of the ranking.
Illustrations
Images labelled "Illustration" show a service in general. They do not show any particular business, its staff, premises or work.
Using the site fairly
- Don't misuse the site, interfere with how it works, or try to access parts you aren't meant to.
- Don't copy large parts of the site or republish our guides as your own.
- You may quote short extracts with a link back to the page.
Content and trademarks
The guides, design and text on the site belong to us. Business names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify those businesses.
Links to other websites
We link to businesses' own websites so you can check details and book. We aren't responsible for those websites or their content.
Corrections and removal
If something is wrong, or you represent a business and want a correction or removal, see corrections.
Our liability
The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or your dealings with any business listed on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates, and its courts have jurisdiction.
